The Department of Odia has started offering three-year BA in Odia with Honors since 2023 with the intake capacity of 32 along with 03 sanctioned post of teachers, although it existed since 2016 wherein compulsory courses were taught. The syllabus is part of the Common UG Syllabus regulated by Sambalpur University under CBCS. Besides, many co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are being planned in the department which are soon to be introduced. A student passing this 3-year program can pursue higher studies as well as jobs in many sectors including government.
