To provide quality education to the students of the locality in particular and of the state in general, the Department of Education was established in the academic year 2016. This Department is offering 3-year UG regular program in Education. The primary goal of the department is to create awareness among the people about the versatility of education as a discipline and to promote main fold activities of education.

In the 21st century world, students are required to be skilled enough to meet their needs of life. Hence, the Department of Education endeavors to achieve excellence by facilitating quality education based on research for students. The teachers of the department are committed to making innovations in teaching and research. The Department has its own room equipped with major psychological tests and teaching Learning Materials required for CBCS syllabus. The students visit the schools/sites for the collection of data required for their practical work.

Our Goals and Objectives: –

  • To develop a scientific attitude among the students.
  • To understand the nature and processes of learning relevant to human beings.
  • To enable the students to gain knowledge about psychological phenomenon i.e. -Experimental psychology, personality, intelligence, motivation, attitude etc.
  • To familiarize the students with methods of teaching, research methodology, Educational Philosophy, Educational Psychology, ICT in Education, and Contemporise concerns in Indian Education
